IT-gemak B.V. attaches great importance to your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process, why, how long we retain it and what rights you have.

2. Which data do we process?
Depending on how you use our website, we process:
- Contact details that you provide yourself via a form or email: name, email address, telephone number, company name and the content of your message.
- Technical and usage data when you consent to analytics cookies: IP address (truncated), device and browser information, pages visited and click behaviour.
3. For what purposes and on what legal basis?
- Answering your question or request (contact and advisory-meeting forms) — legal basis: performance of, or steps prior to entering into, an agreement, or our legitimate interest in helping you.
- Improving our website and measuring visits via Google Analytics — legal basis: your consent (via the cookie banner).
- Security and proper functioning of the website — legal basis: legitimate interest.
4. How long do we retain your data?
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary. Messages submitted via forms are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and thereafter in accordance with our administrative and statutory retention obligations. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the settings of Google Analytics (a maximum of 14 months by default).
5. Sharing with third parties (processors)
We never sell your data. We do engage service providers that process data on our behalf, with whom we have concluded data processing agreements:
- Our hosting provider — for running the website and email (servers in the EU).
- Mailgun — for the delivery of form emails (EU region).
- Google Analytics — for visitor statistics, solely after your consent and with an anonymised IP address.
- Leadinfo — for recognising business visitors, solely after your consent.
6. Cookies
We use three types of cookies:
- Functional cookies — necessary to make the website work and to remember your cookie choice. No consent is required for these.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — to measure visits and improve the site. We place these only after you have given your consent.
- Marketing/recognition cookies (Leadinfo) — only after consent.
On your first visit we ask for your choice via a banner. You can change your choice at any time by deleting the cookies for this site in your browser; on your next visit we will ask again.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data. You may also object to processing, request data portability and withdraw consent you have given. Send your request to info@it-gemak.nl. We respond within four weeks.
Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? You can also lodge it with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems.

We may amend this statement when our services or laws and regulations so require. You will always find the most current version on this page.
